This isn’t the first time I’ve ordered these peanuts. I was raised on boiled peanuts as a kid in the 50’s and 60’s. My younger brother and I would go shopping with our parents to the farmers market every Sunday. My dad would buy me a large brown paper bag of peanuts and my brother a smaller bag. We walked around eating them, then chewing the hulls to get the salty water from them. Man that was good.
I cook them in a pressure cooker for 4-5 hours but I add another cup of kosher salt to them.
