This was my first experience with Shop Sante and was a bit disappointed with the overall experience. I was referred to a product which unfortunately was not available locally. (I am in the Toronto area). I was able to find this item at Shop Sante and when going online, I saw that they have free delivery with purchase over $100. I ended up making my total over $100 to get the delivery, however this item was not eligible. (which is totally fine as I understand that certain policies need to be followed). I had a chat with that online chat - and requested if I am able to get it delivered if I pay for delivery/shipment, this was not an option. I had to connect with individual stores to see if they had the product in stock and contacted numerous stores to double check. I contacted this store and had asked if they would be able to put the items in a box so I can pay for a shipping service (Puroloator, Canada Post, or FedEx) and they declined to do this for me. Unfortunately I didn't have any family/friends who would be willing to pick it up as it is a bit far. So I had to contact a shipping company to grab the items for me, which totalled over $250. Knowing I am paying a shipper and knowing that I am not local, I would have expected a call regarding the "free gift" which I had chosen. When I put it in the basket online, this location had over 200 in stock, however when I called them, they said they had run out. Rather than replacing the gift with another gift which they did have in stock, they decided to not give anything. It's not about the free gift, but more so about the overall experience. Someone should have been able to put my items in a box, someone could have called me to let me know something wasn't in stock, instead, no effort was made to work with me to make the transaction efficient and seamless.
