I recently purchased two bracelets for my sister-in-law for Christmas. Two hours later, after finding the items I JUST bought in store online for less than half of what I just paid, I reordered them and went today to return the in-store purchase. At the store I was told that returns are not an option; in fact, the point-of-sale system isn’t even capable of processing a return. That seems unlikely, but sure. As the sales associate was processing my store credit (which is ridiculously only able to be used in-store), I looked for a sign that stated their return policy, as I was definitely not told verbally about the no-return policy. Oh I found the posted policy. It was on a tiny plaque approximately five inches tall, on only one side of the register, hidden behind a packed merchandise display. What reasonable ability to customers have to see it?! Now I have a $95 credit that is 100% useless. This whole purchasing experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Do better by your customers…or you won’t have any.
