As mentioned in my review, we had to request a larger size of the anti-fatigue calf sleeves for my husband because after using them for a few days he said they were a little tight and uncomfortable while sleeping. There was no push back at all in getting a larger size for him. I am going to give the two medium sleeves to a friend that I know will appreciate them.

Overall, the XL ones seem to fit better, especially on the right foot. Theyvwork well overnight, and do provide some decent support. It is possible to wear a shoe over it, although for warm summer days it's tough. I like having support when walking around the house (vs. completely barefoot).
