The personal label looked great. However the wine was shipped during a massive heat wave and was not shipped in any way to protect it from the heat. It arrived a week earlier than it was scheduled, but the bottle itself was quite warm to the touch. It arrived early evening,.just before 6p, so had been sitting in the hot delivery truck all day. I would expect a company that sells wine to know how quickly wine can go bad in this kind of heat. GIven the record breaking high temperatures, they should have taken precautions to protect the wine. At a minimum they could have delayed shipping for a few days for the record breaking heat to end. It was a gift, so now I'm afraid the wine will have gone bad when the recipient opens it.
