Unfortunately, my visit did not meet expectations. For most of my time in the store, I was not assisted by staff. I selected dresses, entered the change room, and searched for alternative sizes entirely on my own. At one point, I even relied on the kindness of another customer, a mother shopping with her daughter, to help with zippers and clasps I could not rehelp with zippers and clasps I could not reach.
It was quite difficult to find a staff member for assistance

I've been renting dresses from The Fitzroy for many years, and appreciate this service and the selection very much! It has become much less of a personalized experience than it used to be. I am sure it's because the shop has grown and become busier, which is great - I hope you are around for a long time to come! But, I found it difficult to find the dresses I had wishlisted in the shop (dresses were jammed onto racks) and sometimes hard to find someone to help me if I needed a size or opinion.
