It’s a thermometer and it floats! The thermometer is encased in plastic and seems pretty robust. I’ve seen the water swing from 36F to 65F living in the NE, and adjust my time in the Cold Plunge accordingly

My spouse and I, are very old and suffer a lot from chronic pain, so for Christmas, we bought the Titan Triumph XL so we could find a solution for our pain. And it was the best decision we made, we can be together enjoying our retirement drinking wine in our plunge and experiencing all its benefits, our pain has improved a lot.
