My only issue it the label you have on the product has been chewed up on almost all of my 7 baskets but because it is stitched on, I can just easily remove it...and the rope ball on one basket is coming undone.

You say it might take hours for cats to take to it. My 2 cats took to the 2 baskets within minutes. I haven't seen them play with the balls but I did find one of them upside down and inside out. They just seem very happy to have them to rest in. Happily they have not abandoned me at night and I find myself happily tucked in between them (don't ask me if I like that when it's too hot). Excellent purchase.
