3 out of our 4 cats nap in their baskets every day! Our bonded besties, Ernie and Mischief will either sit in their own baskets next to each other or pile into one together. I've tried Rabbitgoo, Puppia, and two other brands - all failures. My Maine Coon mix would either panic or slip out. The Stimulicat is engineered completely differently. Great harness overall! My Norwegian Forest Cat, Thor, is quite large and most harnesses either don't fit or look ridiculous on him. The Stimulicat fits perfectly and looks proportional. I was SO skeptical after trying 4 other harnesses that failed miserably. My Bengal, Milo, would either freeze like a statue or somehow Houdini his way out within minutes. My first Stimulicat basket arrived slightly damaged but was replaced with a new one after I contacted the support crew.
I have ordered another one now as my 2 rescue cats were fighting over who got the basket.
I got the larger size and both cats can actually comfortably squeeze in together if they desire!!
The basket seems to be very calming for them and they love knocking about and tossing around the ‘tail end’ of the rope.
