Mushroom Wood Plugs -Maple 9.5mm were perfect for supporting a kauri soap dish (10mm high). I had to drill 6 holes starting at 2.5mm and then widening the holes 0.5mm increases until I got them to 9.5mm diameter. I then put wood glue in the hole an punched the 'mushrooms' into their holes and pressured them in as best I could. These are solid and excellent quality, solid brass with a vintage feel. I put them on the drawers in my daughters built in wardrobe. Really good value for money and look lovely and elegant. I also like that they are solid, but don't stick off the wall too far so aren't dangerous the way some knobs can be.
