The delivery took longer than expected but was excited to install it. Initial fit was good but I found that the instructions were a bit confusing and made the installation a bit daunting. Not feeling confident on how to perform the sewing strokes, I opted to get this installed by an upholstery tech to ensure that the weaving would be uniform and straight. Significantly difficult, but I love it. This "2024 Tacoma" style works for 3rd gen Tundra & Sequoia as well. The fit over wider spot just above the wheel horizon isn't quite large enough despite a lot of tugging and very tight stitching, so that could be better. Fit was ok, sewing was tricky to say the least. If I were to do it again, I would definitely use very little or no double sided tape. I didn’t like the stitching pattern either. I admit that I am not creative enough with a needle and thread to figure out my own way of stitching. Tucking the excess is behind the spokes of the wheel was difficult, but doable. My 2nd cover by these guys. Had issues with both. My sequoia steering wheel cover could have been slightly longer on the spoke sections. By the time I got it stitched up in areas it comes untucked and width around the spikes was too big so it’s bunched up. The steering wheel cover for my 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 turned out great! Completely refreshed the interior with a relatively simple upgrade. I ordered a full leather cover with perforated left and right sections, completed with red stitching. Plenty of thread and double sided tape are included. Not a bot. I was skeptical about stitching it up at first but it turned out okay. You have to add lots of the 3m double sided tape around the handgrips of the steering wheel to keep it tight so you don’t end up with bubbles. Some parts of the wheel wrap were too long and required “tucking” too hide excess material. Some parts were too short and there’s small gaps between wheel cover. Instruction videos are useless. Idk how to explain it but the spokes need In-out in-out stitching. While the straight areas need a in-in out-out if you know what I mean. It looks more visually appealing and easier to maneuver if you don't take the wheel off. There's one extra loop on the backside on the two sides. First off 0 instructions they do link some customers installs but they are not very good . They say to use the double sided tape I say don’t otherwise you can’t make minor adjustments as you sew . The tape will ball up and leave bumps if you try to move things once on the wheel. I was able to get through it well enough and happy with the job I did . Love the material and it was fairly easy to install. I do wish that the sections covering the 10:00 and 2:00 positions and the steering column had a bit more material however. Also it would be great if the thread was stronger. The thread that was already sewed into the sides of the cover tore and I had to do my best to fix it.
