There was plenty of string, I only used one of the rolls and still had some left of that one. The little thimble was a nice touch as well. I did have to trim a little bit of material from the spoke covers as it was just too much to tuck in the gaps. Finished product looks great! Will definitely take some time to have a clean install. I ended up taking off my steering wheel instead of tucking the excess under the trim. Was able to get a tighter stitch that way. Also as a note I used a spray adhesive instead of the double sided tape. There are some contours around 3 and 9 o'clock on the wheel that needed to lay flat and the spray gave me the cleanest look imo. Very nice quality. Not too difficult to install. I did research other installation videos as the one on the Site needs a little more detail with the actual stitch procedure, one that shows exactly the path of the needle just to get started, and for the first few threads as I tried to pause, zoom in on the video, but ended up finding other videos on the internet that showed. Shipping was fast and ordering was smooth. I love the way it turned out. Installation does take patience and time. It is not a slip on cover from the auto parts store. It took me around 3-4 hours from start to finish. It may take more or less time depending on how fast you can stitch and how tight the plastic trim is. Looks great. Takes forever and requires a little bit of skill honestly. But if you’re patient, careful, and a bit of a perfectionist, this is the very next best thing besides just buying a new wheel. Really happy with this steering wheel cover! It was super easy to stitch on and very DIY-friendly — the instructions were clear, and it fit my steering wheel perfectly.
