I was really impressed with all the Hapstone suspensions I bought from the 6 to the .1 micron. I've used DMT paste from 6 to 1 micron but was truly impressed by how well these polished the edge and removed the micro burr to make them hair whittling sharp. Less wait to dry than paste. Very effective.

These seem to be very well made, easy to use and the holder/tray that comes with the set is very handy to store the tools, clamps and whatever you need to be at hand when at the sharpening bench.

The quote the stone storage box is great. Everything about it is awesome. I can't find one thing bad about it. The Stoppy Stuff is awesome as well. It's nice because of its consistency. It is like a paint and doesn't run everywhere. Gritomatic is a 1 stop shop for me when I need sharpening products. Amazon sucks!! If Gritomatic is out of stock I will wait until they get it back In stock.

Only 4 stars because definitely pricey for what is made. I would have bought a Chinese knockoff for a lot less if I could have found one. I could have also just gone to Harbor Freight or Lowes to find something that could work just as well.

These clamps are great - highly recommend. They dont flex and fit my Toohr perfectly so that there is no shifting as I sharpen, and the angle stays the same as I flip the clamp assembly over. Also Gritomatic customer service is really good!

I purchased the Precision Adjust Elite knife sharpener. I got rid of all the stones that it came with, and replaced it with these. The 120, 240, 400, 600, 1000 and 2000 grit stones, along with your 4" stone holder. Now it's the best knife sharpener money can buy!!

Great stones. The coarse 150 grit cut aggressivly with no large gouges in the bevel that take so long to get out. By the time you get to 1000 grit it’s almost a polished bevel and a strop with diamond tape gives me a beautiful polished edge that’s very aggressive.

I've used it on one knife so far. I bought it to use on my fillet knives which flex quite a bit and hoped it would "stiffen" them with the wider grip. The knife I did sharpen was a boning knife with some flex. I think it cut down on tip flex, but I am looking forward to using it with my fillet knives.

I would consider this a must have. With this you can place your clams in the center. It greatly increases the versatility you have in placing your clamp. It greatly helps being able to sharpen knives of different sizes and shapes.

Excellent product! Exactly what I expected. These Venev dual sided stones seem to be quite a bargain when compared to the equivalent single sided stones. They perform great, great feedback. It's pretty amazing how they quickly remove material, yet leave a nearly polished edge, even when stopping at 1500 grit. Overall, so far very pleased with the purchase !

The stone storage box arrived safely. I quickly filled it up with all of my 6” stones and it’s very convenient. It’s quite easy to use and the stone slide in and out very easily. The latch consists of a couple of magnets in the leading edge. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I added the 1700 and 4000 edge pro stones to my TsProf Kadet pro kit, these stones compliment the TsProf 5 stone kit perfectly, these two stones bring the knife edge to polished sharpness without stropping. The stones bring a buttery smoothness as feedback allowing good pressure control. The price seems appropriate for the reputation of quality of the product.

Really like how it will turn a full 360 as opposed to the 180 factory. Wide to support a variety of sizes and shapes. Only thing I see it needs is some rubber pads inside clamps

This aftermarket clamp solves a lot of the issues that the stock WSP clamp suffers from. Not only do you have two points of contact and a wider stance for long blades, the clamps allow broad blades to sit deeper within the clamps. This is a major improvement over the original stock clamp. Flex is recused greatly and the clamps really lock the blade down securely. My only criticism is the somewhat high price tag but I think it's worth it.

The 120 works good on my demko ad20.5 in d2 for reprofile work. I think the 80 would be overkill for most pocket knives. I'm glad I got the 120 to start with. I'd imagine myself using the 80 to reprofile things into knives like a rifle bayonet I have for a cetme or carving down a becker bk2 into an respectable cutter (haha).

Great product to quickly change stones without putting on a new rod. The worksarp brand tribars are nice. But I've got bad eyes. Can't really tell what grit I'm on, and often get mixed up. I bought stones with different colors. No more mixup. And, no more switching bars. All done, all in one.

I have purchased many sets of diamond stones and the Diamond Matrix stones are by far my favorite. They are easy to work with and they cut well. And as you progress you finish with a mirror polish. They are well worth the price.

Amazing Knife Sharpener. Coming from a Hapstone R2 Sharpener there is just a control I didn't have before that I now have with this sharpener. Highly Recommended!! Also I would recommend the K03 single clamp accessory. makes life so much easier when doing smaller pocket knives under 3 inches.

The stones are exactly what I was looking for, and expected. They are actually pretty nice. For the price I wasn't expecting a lot but they are pretty nice. I've used them with my Toohr #3 to sharpen 3 knives so far. They cut quick and well, the final grit could be finer but they work as expected.

I have a couple of cheap digital angle finders but went ahead and ordered this one. Once I charged it I tried it out and I am impressed at the level of accuracy. It is easily swapped between modes to measure angles for sharpening blades and is very helpful in mounting rifle scopes. I like it.

I just received the Hapstone RS sharpening system with Venev Orion 6" by 1" sharpening stones. Easy as can be to put a razor sharp edge on my Fillet knives. Can't wait to catch a fish and see how much easier it will be to fillet them.

This is a really great stone, it is very good quality and should last a very long time. I wasn't sure that an 8000 grit stone was going to make a noticeable difference but it really does. It gets the edge ridiculously sharp.

Perfect size for my 6” Edge Pro style stones. Made of lightweight wood not plastic is a huge plus in Florida due to the humidity. Also they are ventilated which is another great feature to reduce retention of moisture. I purchased 2 and may buy a third after I decide on the storage setup I want for different styles, grit/micron size and brand of stones. These boxes are a great value and I highly recommend them.

I like mine very well they keep all my stones separated. They never let the stones touch each other. They look really nice setting on my sharpening table. I would definitely buy one again. They are well vented for the stones to dry that I use water with I like them I already have five they’re sure a lot better than the plastic ones

This one was a last chance for a "ceramic" knife sharpening. I was ready to toss that blade in the trash as I couldn't even get it to cut paper. It not only worked, but even exceeded my expectations. This stone got it "kitchen sharp" and with only a few strokes per side. Not quite razor sharp, but edge bites into my thumbnail and pull slices phonebook paper smooooooothly.

A giant step up from my apex edge-pro because it holds the blade securely. My edge-pro stones fit correctly. Some care is necessary to center the blade in the clamps if there is no flat area for the clamp to rest on. Otherwise, solid and very easy to use.

This is really great honing oil! I've been using on my Atoma and Sharpal plates and it really does make them cut better. It improves the feel as well. A quick wipe and all the removed metal comes right off. I've got some resin-bonded diamond stones on the way so I'll try this stuff on them as well. Really good stuff, and a very small amount is all it takes.

Excellent stones for pocket knives, or recurved blades. The stone is a little more scratchy than the resin bonded 1200f, so if you have the Venev resin bonded stones, you can follow up with them, if you want a total mirror. Personally, I don't mind the scratches, as the stones bring up incredible sharpness on my blades. Also, these stones have a slight radius to them, but that doesn't bother anything when sharpening and it really helps on recurves. So far, I've used them on rex45 elmax aeb-l p...

This is much more comfortable than the original stone holder, without the wooden ball grip. Adjusts to fit 4”-6” stones. Fits the Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust rod perfectly. I only wish that this had been available before I purchased the other stone holder.

New to bonded diamonds. This stone provides great feedback and cuts like a dream. Love it. Will be getting more to fill out the finer grades of my progression. Was a little surprised to see how thin the stone actually is. I guess if they don’t really need lapped, not a big deal.

I like the stone holder. It is more versatile than the factory WSPPS stone holder with the magnets. I would like to have seen magnets embedded in the base to still use the WS diamond stones though. I may make that mod myself. Anyhoo this stone holder gives so many more options for stones. This is a definite upgrade to the sharpener.

I'm still on a learning curve sharpening different steels and these Venev stones are a very big help. I don't like the deep scratches left by the metal plate brands of diamond stones. I’ll invest in the larger Venev stones when they become available. I don't own a guided system yet and value developing some level of proficiency with sharpening by hand first.

Great results from this combination stone. On both my s90v and rex121. Razor sharp and strop after 800 was crisp. I ended up skipping my polish cause i was working the blades anyways. Dual stones are very nice for an every other day touch up when working the blade every day.
