This set is fantastic. The only thing I would suggest for someone about to purchase it is to also buy a Venev 80 grit diamond stone. The Venev will cut much faster and save you a bunch of time setting the bevel on a messed up knife. The progression up to 2500 puts a flawless edge on you blade.

This is the finish with the Hapstone 8000 grit and you will not get this type of finish with the Poltava 15000 grit. If the 15000 grit is this rough, I hate to see the rest of the grits. I'll bet they're good for eating a lot of material with the knife. No Thanks!

Currently working on getting all the kinks out of my setup and using the ruixin pro stones which fit perfectly. Was worried about using flat stones so I am glad for making that decision. I also brought the steel blanks which I intend to use with lapping paper. Still have to order some just not sure which one to get.

In my opinion this L-adapter is a necessity. Any blade smaller than 3.5" will be unstable when clamped with the standard setup. The Pro should just come with them to start, honestly.

It's a good starting platform for most of your sharpening needs. There are a fair number of addons to sharpen different items like scissors or chisels. I'm a little disappointed because the holder that the linear bearing passes through is loose and that allows a couple degrees of slop for the sharpening arm. I think at this price point things should be tighter for a more consistent edge.

I just received this today and Installed on my K03 pro and immediately ran into a problem sharping my pm2 , The blade rotates out of the mount when you up stroke the stone to the front of the blade and can see why the mount is to NARROW . Other mounts like this are WIDE for a reason because the the contact points cover more of the blade ,Wider contact across the spine of your knife , So if you only down stroke I guess your OK but I don't sharpen like that . Either I got a used K03 or TSProf is not very impressive in their tooling. Mine came with scratches and marring all over. Also, the manufacturer date is September 7, 2022 which could be a warranty issue.

It’s alright, just know if you have the tsprof pioneer you will need the L adapters. Thankfully I had some but it’s just far out and changes the angles. Other than that it’s good.

I prefer the clamp style over the original design, as it feels more secure overall. However, I’ve noticed that the clamp allows for more vertical movement of the knife compared to the original style. It’s possible that I’m doing something wrong, but this has been my experience so far. Additionally, repeatedly tightening and loading the screw for multiple knives can become quite cumbersome over time.

Well built box. My issue was that I have learned to put a rag in tog if the sharpening stones so they don’t fall out of their respective slots when to box get stood on edge. I put the box into a latcable case along with my fixed angle sharpener. The box is secured but the stones fell out of their slots when I stood the case on edge.

I bought the set of hexdrivers and this will serve as a review of them. Good texture on the handle for a nice grip. Shafts are sturdy and the tips are squared. Nice weight for duty use unlike those plastic handled units. Would have like to have a hole near the end of the end of the handle to insert a bar for added leverage with stubborn screws.

I have only used the handheld guided rod systems before, this is MUCH better! It is so much easier to get the full apex, or burr with this system. Once that profile is achieved, the finer stones are quick and simple. There could be a guard on the stone holder to protect your hand as you are pushing the stone directly towards what will soon be a very sharp blade! Overall, I love it. I do wish I had gone ahead and got the Kadet Pro for a little bit more

This arm is a great improvement over the original arm that came with the professional precision. I can even use the stones that came with the sharpener. The only negative feature is that putting this on the rod allows only about 4 inches of the stone for use. Overall I like it and would highly recommend it!
