I'm enjoying my Alexandria Dayspring Fountain Pen because the ink flows like a new gel pen without having to press hard. The marks are dark and clear. My only request is to not make it so difficult to put the pen cap on and off. It takes a lot of force for something that is so easy to write with.

This padfolio is very simple and elegant. Understated, but it makes a statement. The leather is stiff enough to support the pad, and ages well with time. It doesn't have a loop to store the pen in, but you can usse the latching strap to do that. The Abingdon pen is hefty, with a good balance. I prefer a click style, since you can misplace the cap if you don't secure it well on the top. This was a gift for a friend, and he was impressed with it. I am, too.
