Update to my 3/7/24 review. I have had the boat to the lake twice and have almost completed the break-in process on the Suzuki 25hp outboard. I am very impressed with how quiet and smooth this outboard is. I’ve also used the pull rope option and it takes very little effort to manipulate. I have owned several 2-stroke outboards and this one replaces a Merc 15 hp. This Suzuki 25hp with tilt, trim and electric start is my first 4-stroke. I am very happy that I made the upgrade.

Great customer care during purchase. As promised and delivered on time. As it is January in Michigan, it is still on the shipping crate in my garage. There was some pallet/box damage upon arrival. Waiting on a day it’s not so cold to check for any component damage. Can’t hardly wait for spring!

Recently purchased new 2024 Suzuki outboard for my pontoon. Getting ready for initial break in oil service. My previous experience with products (oil filter) other than Suzuki had cost me 6k and an entire summer without my boat so anything for my present motor has to have a Suzuki name on it. It powers our Highfield dinghy and we can easily mount it on our stern rail mount and lift it on to our dinghy without a lot of fuss. Well I haven't actually used the motor yet. The actual experience of ordering it and the shipping and the receiving of it was excellent. Everything happened very quickly, no problems whatsoever. Took Suzuki out two afternoons to break it in. After warm up we cruised at 50 percent for a good two hours down and back up the creek. Today we made the same trip this time at 75 percent throttle. I'm Very happy at both its performance and fuel consumption! LOVE IT!

Follow up to initial rating for Boat Max. Had a technical oversight when it came to engine configuration. First Honda VTEC 150D oil filter sent was incorrect because we had wrong Honda engine model, that being said, once Boat Max and I concurred right model, new filter was in the mail probably before emails were 5minutes old…. 1000% satisfied w/ Boat Max and there due diligence.
