I mistakenly thought the cushion was Linen, not Cotton, so the texture doesn’t look or feel as sophisticated as I would like. I found the timber slab to be cheap looking. When I went to remove the slab from the cushion, it became detached from the brooch backing as it was just glued on. The timber edge felt like plastic. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality for the price.

I am disappointed in the quality of the cushion. The fabric is cotton and not linen, which is clearly my error but the feel of the fabric is not refined or luxurious as I had hoped. The wooden slab looked cheap and tacky. The edges felt like a plastic or resin and it had only been glued onto the brooch backing. This broke as I removed it.
