I have bought the book because my pool has had 2 drastic problems in a row, 3 years ago a 55,000 pound tree came down in a fierce windstorm and destroyed it. It was repaired but now the new plaster is weak and black algae has taken hold and is not yet eradicated. Matt, very happy with the handbook and your email messages discussing various pool management techniques. Our pool is salt water, which as you know has its own idiosyncrasies. This is our first pool, we have had it for 6 years. The first season was a steep learning curve, I use reagents to test water chemistry. The book not only teaches a novice how to care for your pool but the one on one private emails Kayla and Matt are always there to walk you thru an individual issue. The book pays for itself. I've had my pool for a year and it just seems like it was always out of balance and it was always a problem. They wouldn't show up and so on, so I started doing it myself last week. I was a little nervous, so I joined Swim University and looked at the videos and read about how to add acid and how to test and all that.
