This is such a beautiful folio, the cover is soft but durable. I have added an extra elastic and overloaded the folio cover with 6 refills, plus a tiny address book, and the holes for the original elastic are dealing with it well. The personalised embossing on the front is simple but beautiful, and the notebooks have sturdy covers and a luxuriously thick feel to the paper pages, which have been holding up well to gel pens that tend to bleed a little. I was lucky to get hobby notebooks that match my interests. But I think with a little creativity, I could make them work for other projects too. I especially like the Gardening Friend notebook. Perfect layout for keeping track of specific plants' needs, but also some room to take extra notes.
