I applied petroleum jelly on skin around my neck, ears and hairline before applying product with gloves. Then washed off after a few minutes as per instructions. Very easy to use with a lovely colour. Left my hair soft and hydrated. Would recommend.

This product was actually rhe perfect color for my roots. I don’t used grey but had darkened my natural red hair and the new growth was much lighter and obvious but I didn’t want to continue dying it. This is the perfect transition I’ll use. Thank you. my only complaint is trying to wash out. My hair turns to a wad and I have to add a lot of conditioner to wash the product out.

This client wanted to change her red back to black, so I was very excited to use it. It was very easy to use, 10 minutes and rinsed out the shampoo. I used the light brown shade mainly to cover greys. I’ve been going lighter gradually. The light brown is a little darker than my previous colour but the grey coverage is really good. It was very easy to apply and wash off etc. instructions are cheat abc easy to follow.

This stuff actually works! My gray/white hair is stubborn and even when dyed, doesn’t take color well. I put the Polar shampoo on and let it sit for about 12 minutes, rinsed it out, and WOW! This is a fabulous product, and one I have been searching for! I had 2 inches of regrowth and this shampoo has covered all the white and greys in 10 minutes. I did 2 applications to achieve this red on roots as understandably pure white came out slightly pink on first colouring. I have a lot of gray hair, but I stopped dyeing it because the process was too complicated. After using the Dark Brown Pola hair dye shampoo twice, one week apart, my gray hair is no longer visible. I highly recommend it. If you are an Asian with a lot of gray hair, black would also work well. I chose Dark Brown, but it looks a bit lighter on me.
