Coming from a synthetic bristle Gilette brush, this is soft, produces a fantastic lather (using the Proraso green shaving cream). It does have an animalic smell which will go away as you use it but it would be best to create a lather and keep the brush covered in lather overnight to aid in removing the smell. Works like a charm for Boar and Badger brushes well.

Went from using Old Spice shaving creams to this kit. Had my first shave using these products—never going back. The pre-shave was very cooling and prevented any cuts (which were a regular occurrence earlier) when going against the grain on the 2nd pass. The closest shave I've had. The tin is great for storing all the shaving accessories too

A good and high hold pomade as it's say. Sometimes after a haircut , my hair don't really get style the way I wanted with water based pomade. Then you have saviour like this wonder here. Easy to apply and help lift the hair and style it in place. Plus, with the humidity kind of weather in SG, this product does it job and doesn't sag. Highly recommend it!
