This is my second RAS kit install. Completed in under an hour from the time I got home from work and took it for a test drive. I used all common hand tools, no power tools at all! HUGE difference in my 2019 Tacoma’s ride quality after installing this system. The truck rides much smoother on our rugged rural roads and even better on highways. I’ve noticed it tends to “wiggle” less after hitting a road rut or dip on gravel roads. Very easy to install on a 2020 Tundra TRD Pro. It did raise the back about 1.5 inches and I have it adjusted between the two disc that is provided. Haven’t towed anything yet with it but normal driving it hasn’t affected anything!!! The instructions are junk for this kit for tundra, my advise is to watch a YouTube video of the RAS for tundra and it shows exactly what to do and how to do it. Installed the 3611-YHD on my high mileage 2011 F150 Supercab 4x4 to solve the problem of squat, see-sawing, and sway on a car trailer. Was originally skeptical about the performance of this system as I was originally going to get towing bags for my truck. These impressed me. I tow regularly with car trailers and goosenecks so I’ve been putting them to the test for 3 weeks now. Installed this product on my 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD after buying a 40ft bumper pull car hauler to haul 3 side by sides. So here’s the real deal. Yes after setting it to the max setting with the feeler gauges it lifted the rear of my truck right at 1.5 inches. I was very skeptical that these simple devices would have any impact on to a trailer, but I was completely shocked. I drive a Denali that has the active suspension and by adding the RAS I have no more sway and my sag was improved tremendously. Other than the truck sitting higher in the rear, it does not affect the day-to-day driving when not towing at all.
