We ordered the RAL 5001 to attempt to match a paint that we have. Its almost an exact match. Looks great. I do have to admit that the picture on the PPG site doesn't look anything like the color. Its actually a really nice blue color. I'm sure it is a green blue but it looks blue. I LOVE that I can order the color sample online. A little bit pricey but so worth it. We can take these right to a jobsite to see if it matches. We make our own samples but this is so much easier. Best thing I've done is buy this batch of PPG samples plates.

We were finding it very hard to match up a color, PPG was amazing at sending us a few sample panels so that we could get a better visual so that we could order the correct color. I highly recommend PPG!

Experience with ppg has been very disappointing. Zero assistance from local location reps and stores. Unfortunately online orders are not much better. PPG systems are not up to date. After you order some reaches out and tells you you need to order more powder despite the system allowing 25 and 50 lbs orders. I uderstand why Columbia coating, kool coats and prismatic are taking over this market.
