Excellent trees! Never had one die!

These came in with crabapple trees I ordered. Crabapples turned out great. 5 stars. Of the 3 plums, 2 did not put out any leaves and are apparently dead. The other one has leaves on one of the five branches coming off and not sure it will make it. I planted the same way as crabapples in 2 gallon pots to get started and applied the fungus packets the same way. All were bare root when planted.

Chinkapin is looking good. How long do you leave the tube on it?

I bought tree tubes several years back and they were solid tubes which worked great, these new ones that are not and have to be joined together to make a tube, leave a gap and are more work. I guess these are cheaper to produce for a better profit. Will not buy anymore of these.
