Loving the pattern and the colour (red brown). However, knitting size small and need to order more yarn, hoping I just need 2 more balls of le lambswool, I will also order 1 more of the silk mohair although I might just about have enough of that. I have to finish off first sleeve, knit second sleeve and bands. I have not added length and have correct gauge. Excuse to order more le lambswool for next project though!

At first, I was planning to add stripes all over the body and sleeves. But as I worked on the design, I changed my mind and decided to keep it simple with just some subtle white stripes on the cuffs, hem and pockets. I love how the navy blue and white give it a sporty look with a seaside vibe🌊 I used two strands — Le Petit Lambswool and Le Petit Silk & Mohair. The silk makes it super soft and cozy, and it gives the Le Petit Lambswool a deeper color💙💙

I've been really curious about this yarn and I'm glad that I found the perfect project to be able to test it. It's silk & mohair but I find it quite different from the thinner version. It feels way more silky, mostly because the silk core is thicker. The drape is beautiful, the fabric had a subtle shine but not too much because the fluff of the mohair makes it less obvious. Really enjoyed making this pattern, really well described and laid out. I had a bit of confusion figuring out the colours, comparing the instructions to the accompanying photo, before realising the example was slightly different! But once I got it, very pleasing to knit. Possibly my mistake, but worth making the border stitches looser to allow it to stretch when finished. Thank you for this pattern, a lovely way to use up some leftovers!

I went to the Fiber Festival in Barcelona & failed to buy enough Le Lambswool for a cabled sweater. As I wanted the same dye lot, I did not want to buy from a US distributer so I purchased from B&B with my request. The yarn came quickly to my Texas address with the correct dye lot number. I do appreciate the excellent customer service. I am anxious to start my sweater.

Hi there It's such a wonderful and highly interesting dyed yarn - Autumn evening. I love knitting with it, no pattern, just stockinette as the yarn and colour is creating pattern enough. Also my husband loved knitting with le lambswool colour -candy- which he bought at Munich knits. On top It changes after washing into a completely soft and cosy fabric without loosing it's rustic, woolen character. It was worth waiting for it !! So see you at Munich knits again?!
