I’m very excited about this lovely worsted yarn! I have been wanting to make DRK’s Gib sweater for several years and just didn’t find the right yarn. This color and luster on the solid blue is so pretty. More pics to come. ;)

This is the Grid Gambit cowl. I made it with cedar and carnival dk weight. I’m delighted by the wonderful colors and texture. I’ve made several orders from Junction Fiber, and am always so happy with the quality and feel of the wool.

Very Cherry is so bright and pretty, it makes me smile! I can't wait to knit this! Planning to knit a Sophie hooded scarf, and will probably add some white stripes. Thank you for the quick delivery time and the cheerful pop of color during a cold winter! First I'm excited to finish my Florence Sweater (pictured) by Elenor Mortensen, using Making Tracks Lite in Charcoal and Zinnia!

Beautiful, warm, squishy yarn! A joy to work with in combination with Roots Aubergine and Roots Cranberry to make a hooded scarf from @creatrixinthematrixx on Etsy and fingerless gloves from icancrochetthat.com.

I made this hat using Making Tracks Alpenglow. The Making Tracks Aurora Borealis arrived this week and is gorgeous. I can't wait to make this same hat again with a different color palette.

This was my first purchase of 100% American wool, ever. My only exposure to wool had been the brands sold in big box stores. They are very rough and unpleasant. But after watching several Junction Fiber Mill YouTube videos, I found a new appreciation for the small batch wool mill. I really wanted to try real wool made by hand and placed an order for Zinnia. I love the vibrant colors and love the texture. I never knew natural wool could feel so luxurious. I’m now a forever customer! Thank you JFM...

The scarf was fun to knit, the yarns gorgeous. I managed not to peek! The scarf was very long, so I sewed the ends together and wear it as a looped cowl.

Absolutely love how this yarn knitted up! Even the easiest pattern looks striking using Vermont Vice. The sweater feels light but sturdy, and it is very breathable. After two weeks of every day wear there has been minimal pilling. I can’t wait to order more fun colors.

Very beautiful yarn and so soft after blocking. Color changing is so slow and made a very unique and beautiful color. Perfect for Rhinebeck sweater and any sweater. I will definitely buy this yarn again.

Lovely yarn to work with. Such a surprise to see the gorgeous color change. Yarn is sooo soft and squishy; one knitting friend even mentioned that it looks “textured.” Bloomed beautifully. Can’t wait to try more colors in this delicious sport weight.

This yarn is so soft and easy to work with. It is such a gorgeous shade of grey and feels so good in your hands! I’m holding it with a fluffy lace weight yarn and it’s making the most amazing fabric. It was also super easy to wind. The shipping was so fast, too! I love everything I’ve gotten from Junction Fiber Mill!

This is my 3rd purchase of yarn from Junction Fiber Mill, my 1st from their site directly. I LOVE their yarn and every time I get to use it for a new project I get so excited. I love working it up and then watching the Millcasts as I go. Whenever I have a little extra squirreled away, its going to more yarn from them lol!

My daughter and I discovered Junction Fiber Mill at the Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck NY this past Fall and fell in love with this lustrous yarn! I’m making the Cinnamon and Bourbon sweater by Baby Cocktails for her. It feels good in the hand and the subtle variation in color adds liveliness to this very substantial yarn. This is quality that makes me think of vintage sweaters and should last generations.

I’m a big fan of Junction Fiber Mill yarns. This small batch gray Corriedale Confetti is beautiful. The color has some beige to it, so it’s a warmer gray tone. The silk sari flecks are tiny saturated jewel-tone flecks. Love it!

Customer video review of Making Tracks: Stick Season
Janie M.Verified
I used some Making Tracks DK in Late October to make a sweater and I loved it so much I had to try another colorway. Stick Season was it. The shades of blue and brown dance together beautifully. I am going to pair it with some solid brown for a colorwork sweater. I ordered three skeins and they are all similar but different - it will be a fun adventure to knit with this. It is so soft and bouncy and blocks even softer and bouncier in my past experience. But not too delicate either. Love it!

This as my first time knitting with Roots, but it won’t be my last! This yarn was so easy to work with, so squishy to knit. I was able to achieve a worsted gauge easily and knit The Antler Hat by Tin Can Knits! Roots shows off the cables so well. I loved the yarn and pattern so much I knit one for my husband and one for me — just in time for Hunting Season in Maine!
