Super fast shipping. Helmet fits great, though the straps are quite reminiscent of bicycle helmet straps vs the straps that are commonly found on motorcycle helmets. The color is amazingly glittery. Of course, my wife had to add some helmet flare to it! Very satisfied with the purchase, but do wish it had better chin strap.

I was thinking of picking up a 3/4 helmet both for colder days & longer trips. The wind can really get ya in my area, near the Boot Heel of MO. Over 55mph it gets cold & loud. But I figured I'd try these first because the price was so reasonable. PERFECTION! Every morning lately it's been around 40° before the sun comes up and my ears are plenty warm, and the wind noise is cut down by about 75%. Couldn't be happier.

I have been looking for a replacement to my old beanine DOT helmet since my near death bike accident on New Year's eve of 1999. The company that made those helmet is long gone but the Big Al's helmet is even better than my old one. And I already know from experience these helmets can save lives (it did mine); plus they looks so much damn cooler than those bulbous ones that make you look like that alien from the Flintstones, the Great Gazoo.

I wear a medium helmet but won't ahead and measured my cranium. Still I ordered a medium based off measurements. It does sit low, it is light and small. All good there. It is a little tight but I know the padding will break in slightly. My only complaint is that the headband style padding has the seams directly in the middle of your forehead. It is bothersome and leaves a wicked buttcrack on my head once removed. Hopefully it gets better.

I was doubtful that I was going to get a decent made helmet. Irregardless of all the sworn testimonies, I still thought I was going to get beat. Well I was wrong. This is a very well made helmet and as you can tell by my thumb next to the thickness it is very lightweight. The fit is very good on my narrow head. I am 22 and 1/2 in and I ordered the medium. This is my third Crazy Al’s helmet and I do love how they feel and look. Now I wish you had and I had bought the Polo style one a while ago as it helps keeping the sunlight away from the eyes and t the end of the ride my eyes feel rested and better. The only downside it is cosmetic as I would have preferred that the ODOT print be on the rear side (opposite side).
