I'm a newbie to dip powder - been doing my nails for only 11 months. Using the peelable base has allowed me to perfect my technique without ruining my nails. I have a trick of putting the peelable base in a strip down the center of my nails and letting it dry. (It does take longer to dry than their EZ base coat. Be patient.) Then I start using regular base coat on the whole nail.

I believe I have allergies to off brand, cheap gel polishes. This gel and uv did not activate that allergy for me. I haven’t used the dip powder yet, but even their regular one works for me and doesn’t activate any allergies. Worth a try if you love nails like me!

After looking at multiple reviews of several dip powder nail kits, I found that the Revel kit received the best reviews and decided to try it. If you've never applied dip powder to your nails (that would be me), there is definitely a learning curve and online tutorials were a big help. That said, the Revel kit made it extremely easy and included everything I needed from prep to finish. Removal was a breeze with the Revel acetone provided in the kit. I definitely recommend this kit!

I just used my swift soak for the first time. It worked so much better than any method I have tried in the past. I put my acetone in some hot water to warm first. It only took a few minutes ! the thumbs were the hardest because of the angle. I just left the swift soak in the sink (pedestal ) and I'm glad I did, there was a little splash over. I wouldn't have able to do that if it took 20 minutes. Afterwards I used dawn soap and hot water to clean it up.

This makes dip removal soooo much faster and less labor intensive. I’m talking a 6-layer mani coming off in 5-6 min with minimal filing of the top layer and without having to scrape goo off my nails. My acetone residue is hard to get off the bowl a bit but it doesn’t affect its usage and I’m the only one using it so who cares. 10/10 easiest way to remove dip and I’ve tried them also.
