Great experience! Shipping failed to update on website and was worried I wouldnt receive before a scheduled fishing trip. Emailed customer service and message was promptly returned. Stan was an excellent help and notified me that it was on its way and gave me an arrival date. Arrived as stated, installed same day and fishing trip was a success. The FattyZ from Z-Man is great for when you want to present a larger profile than other ned rig baits. It can get you bigger bites. This 21” Erie smallie hit the FattyZ on the drop in deeper water, rigged on heavy Ned Lockz. It took big bass and was part of a winning limit for a PA BASS kayak tournament in Erie.

I have a 2018 Robalo 226 Cayman I knew without having a jack plate this mount would be very close to working. I got lucky it fit perfectly. Now I can order a second and remove the spacer on the other side.

The shipping was fast. It was packaged well and undamaged. I took it out on the water today and I always figured I wouldn't like the Hobie style pedal drive. I was right, but it goes really fast and I'll get used to it. It's definitely better than a prop drive in weeds and obstructions. I'm 6'3", so I had to adjust the pedals all the way forward. Great all in one wire to connect to power pole charge if you need the length. The only draw back is when fishing the extension through the boat it is really a pain with those big rubber ends on it. I wish they would consider molding smaller end rubbers for that reason. Other than that great extension.

The S2 was an ideal solution for me because I have no room to mount a power pole (or anything else, for that matter) on my transom. Installed in minutes with no drilling or sealing required! It does cause a little drag when running at lower speeds or trying to get on plane but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Very sturdy construction and comes with all the hardware. The ordering process was easy and it arrived on time as promised. Highly recommended!

I have an inflatable vest for lakes but wanted a better/safer fishing vest when I go for halibut in the SF Bay. After much research, I decided I wanted the OS NRS Chinook. It’s a great vest! I'm using this for kayak fishing and crabbing in Puget Sound. It works great and is very unobtrusive...hardly know I have it on most of the time. Awesome, life jacket at an awesome price. I bought this specifically for kayak fishing but to double as an all around life jacket and it’s perfect for that. The pockets are well thought out and it’s not overly bulky. Sizing wise i bought the L/XL size and I am 5’9” 165-175 pounds athletic build and it fits great and has enough room for late season with layers as well as cinching down for a thin undershirt.

My fishing frame stands in at 5'11", and weighs 155 lbs... and the XS/M fits me perfectly! For my preference, this full-size, but minimal PFD was exactly what I was hoping for. This is speaking as a high-chair yakker, too. The high back panel rides just right above my seat, so can't say enough how this checked all my boxes. The fit is great, range of motion for kayaking is not hindered at all. A high mesh back keeps the flotation section above the seat back, and ensures I will stay cooler. Love the pockets and straps; I can keep things like my hook remover, line clipper, and glasses ready at a moments notice! The pockets can even fold down to serve as mini shelves for changing out jigs or what have you!

Had a weak spot in the quarter inch hydraulic line (from abrasion)for the power pole and it failed. Cut out that part and installed the hydraulic line coupler. Just push the lines in the connector firmly. Stopped the leak and has worked for two outings perfectly. I will replace that quarter inch hydraulic line eventually with 5/16 and buy adapters for both ends. The factory discontinued manufacture and does not have available any quarter inch hydraulic lines for the Power Pole.

This is an absolutely amazing reel! So light and comfortable in your hand, I’m gonna be trying it out for some other things going forward, but I bought it for my jerkbait rod matched up with a 6’ 8” St. Croix Legend X, and it is hands down the best jerkbait combo I’ve ever held. I never get tired of throwing it! Unlike some other expensive reels I’ve bought in the past, this one is well worth the money!!
