My dog and cat was not too keen on the taste in the beginning. I had to introduce it in small amounts as suggested. The dog is old and cat is mid age, and I wished I found the product earlier. It is starting to make a difference on their teeth but it is too early to say. I would definitely recommend to start giving it at an early age to maintain teeth and gum health.
