This is a challenging, but satisfying project. The precision of the parts is amazing and the manual has good drawings, but close attention to detail is needed for the construction. Note that while the manual only has only limited text, it is in Chinese.; the Google Translate app helped me with that. My copy of the manual was hand marked with a few corrections. I followed the instructions to the letter on installing the electrical board. As it turned out, I had to paste it to the window. To make it turn on and off. Can you give me advice? Love this. It’s a big improvement to have notches and grooves to fit the walls together. Much easier than trying to figure out if it’s square. I wish they would find an easier way to do the bay windows. They are so fiddly and I can never seem to get them just right. Each one I buy seems to have improvements made but not those darn bay windows. On the whole I love them. I now have a complete wee city.

I’ve been assembling it for several days and tried to modify it to a metallic color. During the process, there was a small issue (it couldn’t run continuously). But fortunately, I solved it perfectly in the end. I’d suggest not modifying it, though, as it might cause problems.

The quality of the wood is excellent. Out of more than 400 pieces, only one had a tiny wood fiber attached when removed, which means it's virtually flawless. Once assembled, the model looks fantastic, especially during the dynamic test run—it exceeded my expectations. After winding it about 6–7 turns, it ran over 4 meters. Overall, this assembly experience was truly enjoyable!
