At first arrival, the watch looks amazing. I knew I wanted to keep it. Unfortunately there was an issue with the watch causing it to stop and lose minutes to over half an hour in day -- randomly stopping at different positions. Alex, Seagull's service rep was very accommodating and took care of business. Great communication and reassurance. This is a stylish design for the CCP military pilots, especially the military Star logo on the back of the watch. But you must have the knowledge about the bezel, otherwise the bezel is just a decoration. I think Sea-Gull really has a modern day pilot watch for the sports lovers.

Well made and solid divers watch with beautiful blue and orange coloring. The rubber-sailcloth strap is substantial. Also a unique twist on GMT, not a moving second time zone hand but rather an outside ring adjusted with a second crown. Have not tested its 200 meter waterproofness yet but so far this is a stunningly beautiful watch - GO SEAGULL

This is a beautiful watch with excellent features. The see-through caseback allows you to see the engraved Seagull movement. The domed sapphire crystal also sets this watch miles ahead of others trying to imitate it. The leather band is of equal high quality and has made this my favorite watch of all time.

I have done some research for this watch, I 've found that this is the true original first design of the 1963 Chinese Airforce Watch, so I decide to buy it. Although it is 40mm size, but I think it looks better than 38mm size, and it's anti-magnetic because it has no see through cover on the bottom of the watch. I am Chinese, I think I should have this watch.

Love this watch with its classic design It comes with both nato and leather strap but I added my own leather nato purely as I like this style of strap and feel it compliments the look for a more retro feel Great size to this and not too big. I really like the watch, the flying wheel looks cool as it rotates. I also always like watches with power reserve indicators and it is great to get the feedback on that dial as the automatic mechanism winds the watch up on your wrist

It just looks so good on my wrist. On the back there is a viewing window. Plus you can get the dial engraved. The mechanism is supposed to be excellent and a first for Seagull.

Overall I satisfied with this watch in term of it's outlook.After a week wearing, for time accuracy wise I can comment deviation is less than 1 minutes.Unlike others brand I wear before deviation is more than few minutes.Well done Seagull!Last but not least,if the strap can change to quick release will be more convenient for consumer exchange.

It took a bit longer than expected. The cream dial is very nice with the gold indexes and blue hands. Winding feels nicer than my sugess version. It’s running about +7sec/day over a week. I have a blue leather nato and it pairs with the watch very well, not that the original straps are bad. They offered engraving and picking of serial number for the long wait. That’s very nice. Overall I’m happy to have this piece in my collection.

I bought two Sea-Gull 1963 watches at the Yue Hwa Chinese Products store in Hong Kong. One is the Wind Chaser version, another one is the Long Sky version. Now I finally own the most famous 1963 version from Sea-Gull. And I am glad to have all three of them because I am Chinese.
