I’ve never done felting before and found the instructions accompanied by the videos e it so easy. The more I worked the easier it got to determine how much wool to use for the designs. If you’re on the fence about trying it, I say go for it!

I love the wool from Felted Sky AND their customer service is amazing. Just finished Patrick with his dog. His face is Fawn and his beard is Parchment. Shirt is Lagoon. I used other colors from my stash. I only started felting a few months ago and I've found that using quality wool really makes it possible to create items that I'm very happy with.

I bought this for a work team building activity. It ended up being pretty economical. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, and, though crafting skills varied widely, no one was discouraged. I wish the colors were more interesting and varied, but there was an ample supply. The needles are fragile; a few broke. We spent about 90 min creating ornaments, and that was about right. I would recommend this, and I would do it again.

It has ample amounts of wool for the Felted Fungi workshop (I’ll be able to make several felted sculptures with it) and the foam mat is sized perfectly for the projects and very sturdy. What a great subscription box! The project is adorable (I made 1 of the 2 rabbits so far), the materials are fantastic, and there’s plenty of fiber to play with. The instructional video is really wonderful and all the steps were explained and demonstrated clearly. As a novice felter, the advice on when and where to use a specific needle style was very helpful as well. Can’t wait for the next subscription box!

I love Felted Sky wool, and the needle tubes that describe which is which type by color. Bonus was this, my first kit purchase. One caveat- don’t make the bigger petals too thick- I had to make 5 of 10 large petals thinner to manage the last of the wool supplied. The cookie cutter petal templates made this project easy to work while watching tv in the evening. I’m delighted with the result.

My classes at our 55+ community really loved making their eggs. In my opinion they are perfect for new needle felters to learn how to use the needles and tighten up the wool on the eggs. I taught them how to make flowers and lines and then they used their imagination and made all sorts of designs. Thank you Felted Sky for the quality wool and having the eggs in sets. I wasn’t able to get all the colors that were used in the picture in the book. It was the one on page 70, Lone Oak. So I experimented with the colors I had on hand. I also turned the tree in the opposite direction. This is my first effort creating a scene, with any medium! I’m excited to try something else.
