I've always enjoyed beading. What i needed most was inspiration for specific projects. These necklaces will be gifts because, as much as I enjoy making them, I do not wear them. Im waiting for good weather to go on the balcony to start wood carving. I enjoy working with beads, leather and wood. I also like putting together precut wood models. I started this as a way to help bond with my mother and my sister and so far craft night has been a success. I'm generally not a crafty person so I can take it with a grain of salt. My favorite so far was the Moss art. I like the clay but it's too messy for me and I like the soap but I don't need to do that more than once and now I have the candle making and I'm waiting for craft night to do it.

This was a great activity. Very relaxing, and I did it outside so I was able to enjoy the summer weather and let the wind take the shavings away. You get everything you need in the box. USE THE GLOVES! The knife is razor sharp, which is needed to carve the wood. This was a basic one with only the knife, not the other carving tools, but still fun for my first experience!
