I did the maths before buying my first batch of Fit Litter - although my cheap litter was indeed far cheaper, when I calculated cost based on usage, they came out even. I’m on my first batch of Fit Litter and it is amazing. Not only can I see my cat’s health, but that cat litter smell is gone from our house and so are those stray clumps that used to make a trail around the litter box. I must admit that I was unsure this would be a good fit but wow ! We have just received our second order! The difference was noted in the first day. Less smell was so obvious, scooping poop in all forms is soooo easy and this litter really does go the full mile. Another thing we noticed was one of our senior cats is now toileting more appropriately than ever before. Day two and no smell. I followed the instructions and used the whole bag in the one litter box but I think it may be overfilled as both cats have removed some onto the floor in front of box. Next time I’ll try just half a bag at a time. I was using a different crystal litter that had larger rocks and I prefer the smaller crystals of fitlitter. I have 3 cats and was sceptical when seeing the advertisments on Instagram about Fit Litter, but after being so unhappy and frustrated with other brands I decided to give it a go. I love it and my cats have adapted really quickly to it and all 3 seem to be happy with it and It's so much easier to keep clean, just remove the solids and turn the rest over to absorb the urine, I am really impressed and sorry I didn't look at it sooner. I've just poured my third bag and cannot recommend fit litter enough. I've finally found a litter that masks the urine scent! I find that I probably could change it a bit sooner than once per month, but it is definitely coping for 2-3 weeks with minimum fuss. I just notice around 3 weeks or so it starts to get slightly smelly but nothing like other litter I've tried before.
