I was struggling with changing tires with just spoons and leverage. Sometimes, I'd have to take breaks because the tire was tougher than me. Finally pulled the trigger after something like a year of hesitation. Received my Street Bike Tire Changer last week and changed my first tire on Sunday evening. I bought the street bike changer last fall, today I used it for the first time. I used it to change the rear tire on my Yamaha Stratoliner. I removed a Michelin Commander III tire and installed a Dunlop American Elite 200/55R17 which is an extremely stiff sidewall tire. my rear axle is 17mm and the front is 19mm so i had to order the 15mm spindle and adapters. had to wrap tape around the adapter to get a snug fit in the bearing and also on the spindle itself lower to keep the opposite side of the wheel from moving under the pressure from the duck head. the adapter should extend through the entire wheel! when using the bead breaker i had to apply so much force that the rear leg was coming off the floor so i made this part shown in my pics to hold up to 3 weigh...
