This remote control is almost essential. Whilst it’s perfectly possible to play your CDs in the frame CD player without one, the remote allows you to skip, replay, pause and adjust (output) volume. Small, light and simple to use, I highly recommend it as an (almost) essential extra!

This is the coolest CD player I've ever seen. As soon as I saw it I drove back to my parents house to see if my old cds were still in storage from the 90s and 00s. They were! The M1 plays very well the sound is excellent and one charge of the battery lasts a very long time. At least 48 hours if played continuously. It looks great as well although I do think that the acrylic cover should be included with the player instead of having to be bought separately.

The Cool Geek M1 Music Frame CD Player is an incredible piece of kit for the price. I’m playing mine through a vintage NAD 3130 amp from the late 80’s, a pair of Kef Q7 speakers and Bluetooth connectivity is via the 1mii B06 Bluetooth transmitter. The CD player looks and sounds fantastic. Personally I drilled a hole in the top of my frame so that the Aux cable to my speaker was a bit hidden but that took 2 minutes and suited the positioning of my player and speaker.
