Got it in the mail, although it did take a bit. It is worth the wait. My original review gave it a 1 star because I hadn't gotten the paper yet. After talking with the staff thru emails, which they were on quickly, I decided to update after I got the paper. Its put together well, the articles seem to have interest in all aspects of history, and the print is big enough for us old people. I was hesitant to purchase this book as I have no little ones to share it with. I kept thinking about this book and I couldn't stop. I had to have it! Received my first Knit Nation in January. Did many of the word puzzles, read it cover to cover and enjoyed it all! Realized that the cowl patterns would help in the reduction of yarn stash - ended up making two of them, a draw-down of 2 skeins and 2 project leftovers. It is so cute!! I picked it up and read it as soon as I got it and I've been going back to read more every day. It has some great tips, really good recipes, and very reader friendly. I loved my first issue! The horoscope prompted me to try a totally different type of yarn-when I saw this gorgeous sparkly Lucatape by Lucci I snagged it. Stranded together with Cascade pima, I used a stitch pattern from a crochet encyclopedia to freehand this cowl in about 4-5 hours. A perfect vacay crochet adventure, thanks for the inspiration!
