The rack is great. Installation was pretty easy apart from missing one nut (of course I found that out after the HW store closed). The build quality is good. My only complaint is the packing wasn’t great and allowed components to rub on each other. There are a lot of scratches. But, it’s gym equipment, I’m sure I’ll scratch it more myself.

This M7 is a great machine
Instillation took about 4 hours
The only complaint I have was an easy fix the top plastic tip of the pulley system that sides up and down the square tubing kept hanging which made for a jerky slipping feeling and was not good
Well I decided to take that off and now it is silky smooth
So my advice to anyone else would be if it sticks going on just leave it off don’t find out to late like I did and take 1/2 the machine apart to get it off

Paper instructions were absolutely horrible. I utilized the video instructions on the site, which was better.
One of the last steps in the video shows putting a bolt from under the unit. This is AFTER putting all the weight plates on. Therefore, it's nearly impossible to do that step.
Overall, I like the unit now that it's put together.

I like everything about the rack. Mainly the 12 gauge steel and the minimal footprint. They are just great for any home gym setup. I can clearly see the sturdiness of the 12 guage 3x3. Coming to the look, it just adds character to any gum space. Looks stunning when assembled.
Couple of drawbacks that I felt could be better.
1. On the pegboard, the hooks just keep falling off whenever I try to remove some accessory which sometimes is frustrating to have to pick it up from floor.

If your using olympic size weight plates, this Z8 Smith machine gets a 5-star rating. We purchased this as it was advertised to hold standard 1" plates, which is what we currently own. The pully system can hold the 1" plates, but not the Smith bar. The diameter of the Smith bar was measured at 27.7 mm (needs to be 25.4 mm to fit 1" plates). I was very pleasantly surprised by the smart engineering and tight tolerances on the machining. There wasn't a single misaligned hole or corner. They kept the different types of nuts and bolts to a minimum, 90% of the hardware was 1 type of nut and 2 types of bolts. No errors in the instructions and everything was clear except they don't tell you when to tighten the bolts with tools. There's symbols on many steps to specifically hand tighten the bolts but it never tells you when it's time to mak...

This is a must to target different muscle groups. Trying to pull a lat bar down with a narrow grip is hell on the wrists. The V bar in this set made it more natural and allowed for full motion without strain on the wrists. Highly recommend this set!

Overall I'm impressed with the K3 and have found that the build quality is excellent. The cables are smooth although a bit louder than I had expected. I did follow some advice from another review on Amazon which suggested adding washers to each pulley wheel to limit side to side motion. I also suggest watching the build video on YouTube as it provides a much better idea if how things go together, particularly the cable threading.
