All I can say is shame on Catrike for not installing longer chainstubes on their trikes to start with. The longer chaintubes even helped to quieten down the chain noise. Requires some mechanical skills. You should read the directions first before assembly. Getting the bolts through the holes can be tricky. Tip: Look at the hole where the bolt should come out while you push the bolt through. After a couple of times, it's a piece of cake. Don't tighten anything until all the bolts are installed. The bag quality was really good. All the hardware was also of high-quality and fit perfectly on the ice HD adventure. I mounted it to the rear seat had to make some adjustments to make sure it did interfere with the front tire of the trike but other than that everything went very smooth. 2023 Catrike Dumont. As you now are aware, the "completer return idler will not work with the Dumont because the return chain will contact the kickstand. It is necessary to use the OEM design of the return tube attached by "P" clamp to the power idler assembly to avoid that kickstand contact. I used the clamp to create an anti-rotation bracket for a CYC Photon Gen 2 pedal assist motor on a Catrike 700. I like the fact that the clamp is offered in many sizes, so it can fit the frame exactly. When mounted on a trike, the motor does not have a downtube to brace against. Recumbent bikes can be very difficult to see even in broad daylight and I've found a good solution. Using the TerraCycle handlebar accessory mount and an 18" - 7/8in OD Black Aluminum Tubing attached to the headrest along with 4 OLIGHT RN 120 C Bike Lights. Typically I have the forward facing and side lights on low and the aft facing light on the high setting. I do not use the strobe settings because I find them obnoxious.
