Bought them for my husband-back problems have reduced his mobility and he needs that calf muscle help for his circulation as his heart is weak. Thought he'd poo poo them and call me a fusspot but he actually likes them so much he's asked for more.
I'll try a pair for flying-I'm a hot footed person and find standard flight socks make my feet too warm as they are just the same synthetic fabric as normal tights.

I have had to use compression stockings for several years and finding ones that were easy to put on -yet gave me up to 20#compression rating at 96 years old.
A side story is I was a Professor of Wood Science at Oregon State as well as being born in San Francisco with its Eucalyptus all around. This wood is very hard and you have made a fabric very soft and comfortable similar but better than Bamboo.
