This Tim guy knows a thing or two about roasting coffee. Haha. Not the first time having this or his coffees, but each time, the textural quality blows me away. So silky and at times, buttery. My best brew of the Echemo Washed was super floral and had notes of earl grey milk tea and peaches. Just a coffee that puts a smile on my face every morning.

Took about three weeks to hit its stride but once it did, amazing. Tim Wendelboe’s coffee always has this beautiful textural quality - buttery almost. My best brew of the Tatmara Natural had notes of strawberry milk, coffee blossom, and pink peppercorn. Delicious stuff.

This is a flavourful bean if you push the extraxtion slightly. I would recommend 18g dose, 36g yield at 95°C in around 32 seconds. Makes a great flat white or latte. The bean does deteriorate a little fast. So vacuum canister for storage helps alot with consistency. All and all a good all rounder bean.

It was fantastic for every time I brew it, like perfume for my house. I gave about 3 tablespoons to my friend at one evening, it didn't make it through the night.

Good, bean has little defect & is evenly lightly roasted, sweet fermented bergamot / berry taste with 3-6 secs acidic aftertaste, brew with my rdt + wdt + mokapot + water (lungo) brewing method.

Hands down my favourite bean. Every change made in grind size and temperature creates a new flavour profile. However i find it best to be drank as a flat white with steamed fresh milk. 18g of beans to 33 grams of espresso in 30-36 seconds seems to be the sweet spot for me. Definitely recommended. Cheers

This is a coffee that you need to take time to drink slowly and enjoy its subtle taste note. When taken black the subtle notes are present but not omnipresent. It just taste nice with that interesting presence. With milk it is light and creamy. Just soothing.

My favourite beans so far. Price is on the higher side but totally worth what you paid for. It has a chocolatey after taste. I only had it with milk. Haven’t try it black yet

Probably gone through 5kg of these beans. Still one of the best ive tried. Definitely a daily driver once you get it dialed in. Long pre-infusions and a 1g/second extraction from first drop probably the best from what i taste

Love this batch Blaq coffee. The ethopia Kercha is very well performed, love it, well balanced with the aroma and fruitiness. Brazil Fazenda is also nice, like the pink guava & honey taste.

Coffee bean quality is very good, no defected bean found. Coffee taste good and strong aroma. Coffee smell and taste like orange(I am not sure is this the one they called it tobacco taste note?). Just slightly bitterness if you brew correctly.

I'm not really good at describing coffee flavours but I do know that I really enjoyed this one! It's got an almost malty, marmite-like flavour which I like in my black coffees. The beans are pretty unique too. Maybe it's a Kenyan coffee thing? I wouldn't know as this was my first Kenyan coffee. I'm writing this review for Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Dumerso. The previous review was for Finca El Morito. I'm loving this dumerso, the citrusy taste is smooth, love the lemongrass while sipping and the aftertaste cinnamon. Will definitely purchase again.

The first time brewing the beans, all the foresty taste and windy feeling just overwhelm my mouth. Personally this not my taste preference, herbs and fresh notes. Started to tweak grind coarser, and temperature lower, the satisfying results of sweet dark choc comes out and I really love it.

Love the fruitiness and the different level of taste notes of this coffee. To me it's more of a guava upfront and ending with lychee. It's really an interesting one if you are an adventurous coffee drinker.

Got my beans right after I'm done with my previous pick which was from Ghostbird Coffee. The notes of this coffee is very pleasing with a slight bitter aftertaste. Definitely will purchase again!

Tried Liberica single origin before and didn't quite goes well for my preference as the jackfruit note is too strong. Gave this a tried, blend of Liberica 80% and 20% Yigarcheffe, it gave a nice taste combination with mellowed down jackfruit note and overall juicy cup of coffee. Love it.

Tasted best about 5-10 minutes after pouring out from my French Press. At that cooler temperature, there was very good medium body - not as heavy as, say, Indonesian coffees (which I also like, by the way) - with fruity flavours and low acidity.

Bought to upgrade from the previous plastic Hario V60 and I am loving it since. Use it specifically for my Japanese Ice Brew coffee and since it '02', it is able to serve up to 2 servings thus good for sharing! Ain't that what was supposed to be for coffee; SHARING.

I rarely purchase medium roast bean, prefer light roast most of the time. But this "The first kiss" made me surprised that it's super sweet. A good combination of these ethiopia Guji & indonesia Kayumas. Nice.
