I'm from the "lower 48" but have friends in Alaska who live off the grid on a river. We visited them and they pulled salmon out of the river that was unlike anything we've ever had before. There really is a difference! I used to buy frozen wild-caught salmon from my grocery store, but I can tell you Popsies is better. I can tell right away when I rinse the fillet under the faucet, the meat from the store is looser and wants to flake away but the Popsies fillets are firm and solid. And the flavor is fantastic.

Despite the high temperatures, the salmon was still cold when delivered. We grilled the salmon tonight for dinner. The taste is delicious. We only added salt, pepper and some lemon juice, and it needed no more seasoning. This purchase was worth every dollar spent.

I'm a repeat customer on my second 20 pounds of Wild-Caught Alaskan Sockeye Salmon from Popsi, and I absolutely love it. There is no comparison to the fatty salmon from the grocery store. Whether grilled on a cedar plank with a dill dijonnaise or baked and broken up into a pasta salad, it never disappoints. I highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

The combo purchases of different kinds of fish is a great way to go. You can try all the different types of fish caught by the Popsie Fish Company from Bristol Bay. Our family all love the Halibut, I love smoking the Sockeye for bagel and cream cheese breakfast and some mornings I grilled Sockeye with Asparagus or other veggies. The Alaskan Cod is the most delicious mild cod in the world. And the Sable, black cod is has unbelievable flavor. All fish comes in perfect size pieces for 1 or 2 people...

We've bought wild-caught salmon from just about every store in our area including Costco (when they have it). This is definitely the best salmon we've purchased in a long time! We are so glad we found Popsie Fish! Ordering was easy and the fish arrived still frozen solid. This is as good as it gets without being right on the coast buying directly from the boats.

We still carry on a Slovak Christmas Eve Diner tradition that has probably been in my family for hundreds of years. A meatless evening meal that always included fish. Living on the east coast it was usually Haddock or sometimes cod. Now with the availability of your fresh caught Alaskan Bristol Bay fish the tradition will now only include Halibut, it’s the tastiest, moistest, flaking appart white fish we ever had. My really good friend recommended since I had expressed interest in having her son ship me Alaskan salmon. The sockeye salmon in both ground and fillet is amazing. So fresh and delish not to mention good sized. I will be ordering again. Love that it is wild caught and sustainable. Thank you. Then, I put an aluminum cookie sheet in the oven & turned the temp to 500 degrees. Simple and Easy Garlic Salmon Burgers. 1 pound of Popsie's Ground Wild Caught Alaska Sockeye Salmon 2 cloves of garlic (or more) minced 2 eggs 1/2 cup of Panko or Bread Crumbs Mix, shape, freeze I made four 1/3 pounders Add oil to frying pan Cook 3.5 mins on each side I will be making these for Carnivore diet using pork rings instead of bread crumbs. These are great, and have them 3-4 times a week.

To my surprise this smoked salmon tasted as if it was caught the day I cooked it. Very addicting because it was seasoned perfectly with a hint of smoke. I really like the wild caught taste because it reminded me of the fresh caught fish my Uncle caught in Lake Ontario. Yum!

Love this Bristol Bay sockeye, it’s definitely the best tasting I have ever had the pleasure of eating. I have been buying the combo Sockeye Salmon and Halibut pack, the last few purchases. Halibut for my daughter and the sockeye for me. I usually make a light lunch of grilled sockeye, squash and root vegetables from the garden (see photo). I enjoy the Alaskan sockeye salmon that I have purchased from the Popsie Fish Co. I cut the filet to make it thinner so that it can be steamed in about 6 minutes to preserve the omega 3 oils.
