The bag is too tight. The metal of the unit grabs harshly against the bag and you have to work too hard to get the hose in the bag on top of the unit.

Honestly, not a fan! I bought this right when the pre-order went live. I’ve had the howl on my radar but couldn’t afford the cost, i jumped at this thinking it would be the little brother. Unfortunately, it’s a nice fire to look at with little heat output. Depends on what you’re looking for, this isn’t for me

Quality is unmatched

The R1 bundle feels as high quality as they look on the website after a couple of uses. The 3-star is only for the extended delay in getting the R-1 haul bag, the month-long wait is significantly more than the original promise from the ordering site. Given the Howl team did try to compensate the wait with a 5% discount, a more generous discount match to the Black Friday sales seems more reasonable as the actual delivery time was on December 5th.

Fit kinda tight but all the parts are in the bag.
