Fits better than O.J.’s glove! Its perfect and built what seems is going to last. Very tough and durable and will protect the Howl from bumps and scratches but also protect other things should it have some soot when packing up camp. Didnt think I would guah over a fire pit bag, but this is well worth every dollar.

Absolutely worth every penny! We used it camping and it was better than a wood fire. No smoke, no continuous getting up to feed it and the best part was that we didnt smell like campfire smoke! My sinuses were happy about that! Easy to pack and durable! Also, Howl’s customer service is amazing! 100% recommend them and their products.

Very well built. Kind of looks like it was made by Cook Partner but better. Super compact and lighter than I expected. Its about the size of a shoebox. The only downside so far is the fairly loud hissing noise from the gas when it’s turned up. When you’re running on low to medium-low, it’s not a problem, it’ll just make me conserve fuel…

I've had my R1 for a couple of months now and I've been using the heck out of it! Great flame, puts out plenty of heat and now we can enjoy a fire in the summertime. We live in the middle of fire country with "fire season" and "summertime" being interchangeable terms. Now we get to enjoy a fire without the fire danger worries. Love this fire pit!

We absolutely love our Howl! We've used it about a dozen times now and it truly is worth every penny. It looks and feels like an actual campfire without the smoke of one. The heat it emits will toast your thighs and give you such a cozy feeling. The best part is that we were able to roast s'mores over it the flames with the kids like a real wood campfire. We went camping this past Memorial Day weekend and got asked a couple times what it was. We were happy to market and talk up our new camp toy....

Why haven’t you bought one yet?! I was skeptical with such a high price that Howl could produce what it claims, and there are many big claims. Your search for a campfire is over. Fueled by propane yet without the propane smell, this fire PRODUCES heat and amazing aesthetics on top of it. Super compact and made of solid materials, the R1 is legit. It puts out epic heat even on the lowest setting. The only thing I would ask from Howl is that they sell the carry strap- the manual explicitly states ...

Wow.....truly a game changer. I bought tge R4 and the coals damn near burned my legs off. Had to turn them off and just use the A Flame. This firepit is a game changer. Im looking forward to reclaiming some outside time here in Colorado during the cold months of winter. Worth every penny. Ive recommended it to all my friends. Its built to qualiry specs not seen since I was a kid.....not giving my age, but it's decades ago!
