I’m 5 7 and a half, curvy hips and strong arms and 153 lbs. I got a medium because some of the reviews suggested that a large gaps in the back, I think maybe I wish I had done a large as I have to hitch it up high to get it to feel normal and then it’s basically a thong. Not sure I would purchase again as I don’t find it comfortable and I’m hoping to surf in it. Looks beautiful on others tho!

I love the brand but now i m so disappointed. Im a 38 somtimes 40 but usually an M. I ordered 2 bottoms and these are not small these are tiny. You need to pay attention for the sisze. I ordered an XL and I cant keep it because it is small.

Sadly does not work for very large busts. I am a DD-DDD and the suit was one wipeout away from a wardrobe malfunction. A beautiful suit otherwise and perhaps more appropriate for a Vegas pool party rather than a high intensity water sport activity!

this purchase has gone very badly for me. Both pieces, but especially the black one, have a very strange fit. They fit perfectly in the shoulders and arms, but they are large in the back. They are also short and pull and dig into the groin. Extremely uncomfortable! . The fabric quality is average and worse yet, the interior seams hurt my skin from rubbing! This is the second purchase I’ve made, the first one went very well, but these are definitely not up to par.

Could’ve been a lot better, terrible design. If you have a chest of any sort this will NOT work for you. It’s just because of how it’s cut. I’m 135, 5’7 and a 34D for reference. It’s very unflattering, it will push your chest down flat and wide, and the sides offer no support at all, you will be able to see the gape under your boob if you have them (and not good side boob). i have problems receiving the package because i didn't know that it needs my signature to get the package and i am currently not at my home addressin germany. After I alredy made a new order to my indonesian address because i really need the bathing suit here i got to know that i will not be refunded for the bathing suit if its send back from Germany. I bought the same suit 3 years ago and it was my absolute favorite. I sadly left it at a surf spot and ordered a new one 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately the sleeves aren't fitted like the original fit and they bloom/stretch out once in the water at the wrist area; def not as comfortable of a fit. The suit also had a funny smell to it. Not sure if Makara has changed their material or source, but bummed I lost my original one. I'll still use it as it's my warmest surf suit, but not the same.

The suit is the smallest size S I have ever tried on. They run small I guess. The suit looks sturdy and the color is nice, but it fits horrendously as it is tiny in size. I wanted to return it, but shipping to Indonesia costs nearly 40USD at which point I realized I would be paying an exhorbitant amount of money for a bathing suit. I'll took the risk in buying it and wish it would have fit.

The material and quality are great.
Sizing is on the large size and probably better for bigger busted gals (in the larger sizes at least).
