Although I took my time to complete this, 4-5 months, I’m happy with the result. I’m not one to sit for hours painting, but found paint by numbers a good activity to do, an hour or two, on days when I felt enthusiastic.

Loved doing this… we spend a lot of time in Tekapo so love having this on my wall to jog the memory.

Another beautiful native bird to paint. Friends and family amazed at how realistic the finished painting was. Comments like, “that lichen on the branch is like real”.

I found this a very relaxing picture to paint. Not a lot of small detail areas so didn't take long to complete. Very happy with the finished product.

My kiwi is still a work in progress. My only issue with it is that there was a nostril right at the top of its beak near its face. Every New Zealander knows a kiwi has its nostrils in the tip of its beak. The only bird in the world that has this. As you can see in my photo I did paint over the dark spot with a lighter colour, and while it is still visible I can now live with it.
The kiwi is my 4th 'Kiwi Paint by Numbers' so yes I recommend them to all.

Nice picture, well marked, difficult but not over complicated. Excellent to have relevant NZ content, easy to order and arrives quickly,.
Excellent product

I enjoyed painting the Castle point lighthouse print, finding the brushed to be OK, the paint very good quality and the support to be very good. I added a few clouds and several people to increase the feeling of movement, otherwise a wonderful way to enhance one's skills.

Was great fun to do, and quite easy not so many small areas like the Arrowtown building which I did and loved also but was harder than this one.

I really enjoyed painting the kea and it was definitely one of the better quality paint by numbers I've purchased.
The frame was a great added bonus that I didn't realise I was getting, even if I did struggle with putting it together 😅 I appreciate the YouTube video put together to help.
Would be cool to try more similar to this with more varied colours.

This was the first one I'd ever completed. I learnt from this one to pull the canvas as tight as you can when putting the tacks into the wood at the back. Gorgeous colours on this one but mine is not as nice as the sample pic unfortunately.

Painting was really fun but the brush quality is poor, so I had to buy new one. With the kea, the tail doesn't make sense and spoils the look. I found the original photo on shutterstock and I understand why it is digitalised that way. A better photo should be used. I am now overpaitng the tail using a different image. Still very enjoyable !

Finished it today for my dad’s birthday and he loves it! However the frame doesn’t seem to fit the painting which is unfortunate

This one was easier than some others I've done. The trick is to load up the brush so you cant see the canvas through the paint.

This was my second paint by numbers. My first was Cathedral cove. In comparison, Mt Taranaki was a lot quicker to complete. There were large bits of sky that were super speedy. I felt like I progressed much faster. But the lighter paint colours still showed the numbers through the paint so I had to do at least 4 coats of paint in those areas, sometimes up to 6 coats.

What a great way to enjoy some quiet time. This is definitely a work in progress but I'm enjoying the journey.
I have it set up in a quiet room so it's easy to come back to.

Really enjoying the vibrant colours. It's a great way to unwind. I was worried it would be too tricky for me as a beginner but the brushes provided are excellent and make it easier than I expected.

I am sorry to report that I have not started my painting yet as I want to get Christmas 🤶 stuff out of the way first. I make Christmas crafts for my friends and they take a bit of time.
I am really looking forward to starting my painting in the holidays. Eileen.

I really enjoyed painting it. It looked super hard, but that’s the way I like it. Took me about 2 weeks to paint. Got my next order in place and can’t wait for it to arrive!
