I am hooked on doing this, I was so excited for it to arrive in the mail and couldn’t wait to get started on it but I had to wait as I was away from home for a few weeks. I love art but I’m not confident creating art from scratch so I’m happy to do something that I know will look good when it’s finished and hopefully it will inspire me to create my own art.

I really enjoyed every single Kiwi Paint by numbers I’ve done over past few months. They all come out so beautiful. Got my next painting ready to go and I’m super excited about it!

This was really hard for a beginner like me, but glad with the end product, gave up towards the end just used most of the green colours to complete the tree and background… Will look great on my wall

I had tried another pbn and was so disappointed that I threw it away. It looked nothing like the promised end result. So I thought they were all the same. I'm so pleased I tried again and went with Kiwi Paint by Numbers. I was honestly and truly astonished at the result. It looks like a photograph! I thoroughly enjoyed the process- stepping back and seeing how it was coming together. The paints are top notch and cover in one coat. I never expected it to be good enough for the wall, but it we...

I thought the abstract background was a great way to do ones first paint with numbers. It's very forgiving. I loved watching the Pukeko come to life while doing the painting.

I’m really enjoying working on this painting, it’s very relaxing. The colours and picture are just as described. It’s going to be touch and go whether I have enough paint to finish the sea but hoping I can get more if needed. Updated Oct 2025 to say I did have enough paint and loved finishing the painting!

If you are wanting to give PBN a try this would be a great one to begin with. This was my 5th PBN and it only took a few days to paint. Not as much detail as others I've painted but it still looks really good and I very happy with the finished look.

Really enjoyed painting this scene. Finished in a few days, some big chunks of time, other days it was 5 minutes here and there for mini breaks during the day. It’s so satisfying to have my own painting of one of my favorite places. I’ll definitely do more of these!

Tui in flax bush is an excellent canvas to start your paint by numbers journey. The green shades are beautiful and easy to paint. The end result will surprise you. My favourite.

I absolutely love this painting. I’ve completed many paint-by-numbers, and this one is definitely one of my favourites. It’s my second one of this design. I donated the first one to a bird sanctuary, and I missed seeing it on my wall so much that I ordered another. It looks beautiful and brings so much joy to the space.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Tui paintings. The results were impressive. Now taking pride of place in our lounge for all to see. A very pleasurable and relaxing pastime to end the day. Recommend to everyone.

Probably not the wisest decision getting such a detailed complicated option as a first go but it’s been cathartic and fun way to get me back into painting after a few decades … I will definitely buy from you again!

This is one of my most favourite ones to do. I love the fresh colours and it was nice to paint. I am yet to hang it but going to put it with the bird ones once I finish them.

First try doing a painting and decided to do this as a Xmas gift but didn't expect it to be so large and detailed (novice showing). It took about 35 hours to complete but am super pleased with the result. Easy to do and I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated.

I really enjoyed the pain by numbers experience! I did it with my teenage son as a Spring Break activity at home, and it turned out to be a relaxing and creative way to bond as a family. I will definitely be doing more Kiwi themed paintings in the near future especially New Zealand landscapes and native birds, which I find particularly inspiring and enjoyable to paint.

I loved being able to a paint beautiful New Zealand bird and this kit was fabulous and easy - fast delivery and great service too. With the painting, I wish the paints had been a bit thicker and more opaque, as I had to go over most of it twice once it had dried to get rid of the watery brush strokes - but the end result is a beautiful painting. I have two others I can't wait to get stuck into.

I’ve just finished Tekapo Lupins! It took me a bit longer than the others because of all the beautiful detail — but I truly loved every moment of it. Thanks again for creating such stunning kits!

paints are good quality. learning curve that I needed to apply them thicker as I had to do a second coat when it had dried but that was double the fun. colours supplied give pinker sky rather than blue and overall more pink and Grey tones than the image. I created a few colours myself and I'm very happy with how it came out. I'd purchase another.

Very interesting painting to do as it changed several times as it was being done. Loved painting it and sorry it is finished. Nice and rewarding to now sit back and enjoy it.

Loved my very first Paint By Numbers of the NZ Falcon. Paints were perfect as was the canvas and the numbers were easy to follow with the guide to keep me on track. You will see that I switched it up a bit by adding some clouds to the blue sky and also lightening the top of the hills colour. Great quality and so much fun. Will be ordering again 😊 Kind regards, Rose

I remember Paint by Numbers when I was young. I didn't expect a renaissance! I am finding the Cherry Blossoms so relaxing. I don't do it every night, but really enjoying it. Getting one for my sister for her birthday!

Pretty cool. I love it. Better to check all your colors first though. I had a very dark colour 23 when I was expecting some kind of pink. First time I get a wrong colour. I made my own colour 23 by mixing 2 other colours and it was great. I also changed a couple of colours in some places to match a bit better the model.

This was my first go at paint-by-numbers. Fun to do and proud of the end result! Only criticism is that there were quite a few cells with no number on them, even on the printed chart, so I had to guess. The picture has turned out alright though, so my guesses must have been OK!

First time painter! Absolutely loved it! It had taken me three weeks to complete as I had fallen off my horse a 2 weeks before and broke my hand. I chose this painting as I have been up to see the Kaimanawa's in the wild. It was a breathtaking experience that I will never forget.

My first ever paint by numbers, a big change from adult colouring with pencils. Enjoyed it for a change. Will frame once dry, I've only just finished. Came quickly and great company to deal with. I see the ones I wanted are back in stock, so might be tempted to do another.

This was my first paint by numbers experience and I really enjoyed it. I chose the Arrowtown picture because I have always loved that little cabin and the colours were lovely. It took me about a month to complete, but it is now framed and ready to hang on my wall. I am keen to try another of your scenery paintings although the birds are very appealing too!

Such beautiful colours in this PBN - so pretty. PBN is very addictive as this was my 7th painting and I have loved painting each and every one of them. I also love that they are all NZ landscapes and birds.

I brought this paint by numbers as I was looking for a gift for a friend and on a whim I brought it and thought I’d better try it to see if it would be any good. At first I was shocked by the detail and tiny spots to paint ( up until the purchase I had thought it was a simple thing for kids) to my surprise I was instantly hooked and finished it in a day and a half - I was hooked, obsessed and pleasantly impressed with how therapeutic it was- if only I had known about such a thing in lockdown… Pi...

I am so thrilled to have found this new hobby. I enjoyed painting this one but it looks even better on the wall . I have done 4 now but my favourite of all time has been the dolphin. I loved the movement in that painting.

I have been in isolation for the past week or so, and have been relaxing doing the painting. I was a little overwhelmed at first, thinking it would be too complicated for me, but as I progress, I am absolutely loving it.

Arrowtown is my first PBN. I instantly became addicted though it was hard as the work was quite fine and despite my reading glasses I still found the numbers hard to read at times. I am now tackling a 2nd one, the Lake Wanaka Tree. What a great way to spend wet rainy days and long evenings. Thank you

Loved doing this painting. The items supplied with the canvas are great and the paints apply easily (some companies paints are a bit dried out and you need to add water to revive them).

Haven't done paint by numbers since I was a child. Really enjoyed it and the finished product is very nice! Haven't stretched and framed it yet as I may have to recoat some areas for better coverage but that is pretty usual for most acrylics. Looking forward to completing the 2 bird paintings I purchased at the same time as this one. Thank you for a lovely product and efficient ordering and delivery process Cheers, Shelley

This was tricky with a capital T. Love it though but it did require some walking away and going back to it with a calm mind. Make sure you load up your brush in particular with the lighter colours so you cannot see the numbers or black lines when finished.

Hi. It is still a work in progress! Life gets in the way but I love the fact that it is here and I know anytime I can I can pull it out and do a bit. I feel this is going to help me and my mental wellbeing throughout this year as we head into a new school year. I am going to be teaching 5 and 6 year olds and it is going to be mentally and emotionally draining as a lot of them are very needy and the whole I miss mum thing which then all the cuddles and comfort kicks in before even getting them t...
