The new handlebar solved one of two problems. I wanted to sit more upright, These bars would need more rise and rearward extension to make a significant improvement, but the 65 degree angle cures the numbness I got from straighter handlebars. They are a worthwhile improvement!

Love how wide and swept back these bars are, just the right amount of rise as well. They were comfortable right out of the box. High quality finish on them, I went with black. These totally changed the riding experience on my 29er plus. Loads of room for a large handle bar bag, my Carridice bag strapped on perfect and I even had room for my headlight to mount.

The paint is far more durable than the Canadian Tire paint I used on my last frame repaint. I used 2 cans of top coat which was about 3 coats. The top coat needs to cure for a few weeks before building. test with your fingernail, if not cured you can feel your nail press slightly into the top coat.

The hoods and drops are comfortable to ride on, it gives much better control and handling than my old bars. It took a few rides to adjust to the new grip position, but I'm happy with the fit. I'd recommend these if you're looking for flared, wide handlebars.

Tubus is the gold standard in touring racks (IMO). Bought the Logo Evo to replace a Cargo Evo which I have owned for 10 years. The Cargo has no lower pannier mounting level and, I was trying to get the weight a bit lower to minimize a death wobble. Unfortunately, the 'weight lower' thing did not help, still a wobble..... maybe worse....(the search continues for a solution) but, the positive is the lower deck greatly assisted in installing/removing panniers with a bag on the top deck. The 700x32C Paselas were installed on my old 60’s Peugeot as the default commuting tires by Jean-Michel at the Villeneuve shop. The ride quality improvement is drastic! The bumps are just enough to feel the but old steel + pasela tires = best combo for commuting in Montreal. Worth the upgrade, and they’re available in funky sized like mine, too (just ask at the shop for a tire change). The muds isn’t stuck in the center so that’s cool. If anything, I wish were a tad bit wider… but they’ll fit on...

You already know. The fit and finish is superb. This went on a Velo Orange Polyvalent low-kicker we built up for a customer. In our region the VO cranks were only available in 175mm, and our rider is a shorter person. The 170mm length was a better bet. Anyway, it's shiny and well-made, and really ties the room together. The project really starts to get exciting when the cranks go on.

Extremely handy if, for example, you have a teenager who is growing fast but doesn't merit an entirely new bike. Also useful for adding drop bars to a bike that has a threadless stem and was set up with swept-back or the like. Note that you will probably have to replace your brake and shifter cables at the same time, unless you have plenty of slack in your setup.

It's the little things. How easily accessible the side pocket is, for example. Or how the plastic plate at the bottom keeps the bag upright when off the bike. Or how there's a hard guard to keep you from snagging and gradually ripping the pannier on your rack. All told, worth the money.
