You will get compliments sending letters with this paper! It's a very nice set. The paper is thick enough to feel "expensive" but not so much that it's hard to fold/manage. A slight glossy texture, so a quality ballpoint or gel pen (I used the Zebra Sarasa 0.5) works well to write on it, I cannot say how a fountain pen or liquid ink would react. I got these for work so I have something to carry my notes around in. They are great, especially when it's raining out and there's a danger of them getting wet. I included a picture with a standard piece of paper (8.5"×11") To show size. You can fit a lot in these and they are sturdy. The snap closure opens and closes easily.
